On November 8, 2023, the finalix Forum took place at Kraftwerk Zurich. Together with our guests, the finalix team immersed themselves in the topic of “Digital Assets” in an extraordinary way.
Review
There was great interest in the topic of “digital assets” in relation to changing customer needs in the financial market. We welcomed well over 100 people to the finalix Forum. During the interactive part of the program with “Lego Serious Play”, the participants presented their view of the topic and made it tangible.
The event was followed by a delicious vegetarian aperitif riche. Lively and interesting discussions took place in a relaxed atmosphere.

Donation
Instead of give-aways, we decided to donate ten trees per participant to a social project.
The finalix trees were planted in Kalimantan (Indonesian part of Borneo) – where forest fires have recently raged and reforestation is hugely important to restore the ecological balance. Learn more about the trees tokenized on the blockchain and Treetracker by Greenstand here.

Anstelle von Give-Aways haben wir uns entschieden, zehn Bäume pro teilnehmende Person für ein soziales Projekt zu spenden.
Die Finalix-Bäume wurden in Kalimantan (indonesicher Teil Borneos) gepflanzt – wo vor kurzem Waldbrände gewütet haben und die Wiederaufforstung enorm wichtig ist, um das ökologische Gleichgewicht wiederherzustellen. Digital Assets
The topic of the finalix Forum 2023 was: “Changing customer needs: How digital assets will shape the financial market”. We have summarized the key takeaways for you here.
Younger, tech-savvy generations such as millennials trust the concept of distributed ledger technology and use digital assets in a natural way; they value their versatility, availability, speed, and global accessibility. In addition, blockchain technology offers efficiency gains and risk reduction in transaction processes between financial institutions, such as settlement or the exchange of collateral.
After predominantly new, innovative market participants have created a dynamic ecosystem for digital assets, the first traditional financial institutions are now also offering digital asset products and services. The offerings of new and traditional providers are constantly expanding and increasingly overlapping. Traditional financial institutions have the opportunity to capitalize on the growing market for digital assets, but they must expect regulatory uncertainties and build comprehensive capabilities.
Financial institutions should take a gradual approach and start with specific use cases to gradually gain experience in the area of digital assets. They must focus strongly on the needs of their target customers and establish a well-considered product and service mix. Through ongoing validation and scaling, a strong positioning in the market can be achieved.
